Angel Rangel: 'Two quick goals changed the game'

Swansea City defender Angel Rangel admits that allowing Manchester United to score two goal in three minutes ended the game for his side.

Swansea City defender Angel Rangel has blamed the "two minutes of madness" in which his side conceded two goals for their defeat to Manchester United.

The champions inflicted an opening day defeat on Michael Laudrup's side, running out 4-1 winners at the Liberty Stadium.

Rangel admits that his side are disappointed with the loss, particularly after allowing David Moyes's team to go 2-0 up within three minutes despite playing well in the first half.

"Obviously we're disappointed," Rangel told the club's official website. "We hadn't lost a game up until now, including pre-season, so sometimes it's a good thing to have a result like this.

"It was two minutes of madness really - and it ended up changing the game. If they hadn't scored the second goal then I think we would have had a chance in the second half.

"That killed it really, but we gave it everything and we have to accept the defeat and move on. It puts things into perspective because we have to get used to losing as well as winning."

The Swans travel to White Hart Lane to face Tottenham Hotspur next Saturday.
