Jamie Redknapp has claimed that if Gareth Bale were to join Manchester United this summer, then the Premier League trophy would be destined for Old Trafford.
The Real Madrid star's future at the Bernabeu is uncertain amid reports that Zinedine Zidane is open to selling the Welshman in order to fund a move for AS Monaco teen sensation Kylian Mbappe.
United manager Jose Mourinho admitted today that he would "fight other coaches" to sign Bale if the former Tottenham Hotspur player were to become available.
When asked about the possibility of the 28-year-old moving to Old Trafford, Redknapp said: "If it did [happen] I think you should just give Manchester United the trophy now.
"It won't be to do with anyone else because Gareth Bale is that good. He would rip the Premier League apart if he came here. He is sensational. He is made for the Premier League."
Bale, who joined Madrid for £85m in 2013, has won eight major trophies with Los Blancos.
