Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly slammed his players following Saturday's 1-1 draw with Southampton in the Premier League.
Daniel James had given United an early lead at St Mary's before Jannik Vestergaard equalised in the second half as the points were shared on the south coast.
According to The Sun, Solskjaer was furious with his team's second-half performance against the Saints - branding their display ' a joke' before hitting out at their inability to 'finish teams off'.
The report also claims that the Norwegian is disappointed that a number of things that are being worked on in training are not being shown in matches.
The Red Devils have made their first start to a league campaign since 1992 having won one, drawn two and lost one of their four fixtures this term to sit eighth in the table.
United will attempt to return to winning ways when they welcome Leicester City to Old Trafford after the international break.
