Louis van Gaal's appointment as manager of Manchester United is reportedly imminent after he delayed naming his Dutch World Cup squad until next week.
The 62-year-old, who is currently contracted to the Netherlands national team, was due to announce his team selection for this summer's tournament today, but that has now been pushed back until Monday.
No official reason for the postponement was given by the Dutch Football Federation, but the delay is said to centre around Van Gaal's ongoing negotiations with United, according to The Mirror.
The same report suggests that those in charge at the Premier League club want to ensure that current interim manager Ryan Giggs remains in some capacity at the Red Devils following the appointment.
United are currently seventh in the league table following their 4-0 triumph last time out against Norwich City.
