The Football Association have suspended Sascha Riether for three matches after he pleaded guilty to violent conduct.
The Fulham defender took to Twitter yesterday afternoon to accept the charge, which he was handed for stamping on Manchester United youngster Adnan Januzaj at the weekend.
"Following an independent regulatory commission hearing today, Fulham's Sascha Riether has been suspended for three matches with immediate effect after he accepted an FA charge for violent conduct," read a statement on the FA's official website.
"The incident, which involved United's Adnan Januzaj, was not seen by the match officials but caught on video."
Riether, 30, will now sit out games against Liverpool, Swansea City and West Ham United.
