Brendan Rodgers held a meeting recently with several members of the Leicester City squad after speculation linking him with Manchester United.
The Foxes boss has been rumoured to take the vacant job at Old Trafford since before Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked and that has only intensified since that point.
However, Rodgers revealed that he held a meeting with his leadership team recently in order to stabilise things at the club heading into this next period of games.
"I spoke to the leadership group, I was aware that over the past few weeks... I did not read so much, I do not, but I heard little bits and pieces," Rodgers said after the defeat to Chelsea.
"It stabilises everything. You (the media) know how this gossip arises, and normally I do not even think about it, but I understand that it may have a bearing for other people."
The Leicester leadership group consists of Kasper Schmeichel, Jonny Evans, Jamie Vardy, Marc Albrighton, Youri Tielemans and James Maddison.
However, even though the meeting took place recently, it did not help the team on the pitch as the Foxes were defeated 3-0 by Chelsea on Saturday.
