Cristiano Ronaldo is in danger of his worst goal drought for over 12 years, as the attacker prepares to lead the Manchester United line against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening.
The 36-year-old netted three times in his first two Premier League appearances of the campaign against Newcastle United and West Ham United, having secured a return to Old Trafford from Juventus.
However, Ronaldo has now drawn blanks in his last four league outings for the Red Devils against Aston Villa, Everton, Leicester City and Liverpool.
The Portugal international is already on his worst run since November 2017 for Real Madrid, when he failed to find the back of the net in four straight league appearances.
However, the attacker has not gone five in a row without registering in a league game since a run of nine for Man United between November 2008 and January 2009 during his first spell at the club.
Ronaldo has found the back of the net in each of his three Champions League appearances this season, though, netting late winners in the recent victories over Villarreal and Atalanta BC.
