Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney has admitted that record signing Angel Di Maria must "figure out" for himself how to rediscover his best form.
Since completing his switch from Real Madrid last summer, the Argentine attacker has struggled to reach the same heights as he did with Los Blancos and was even pulled off at half time in United's victory over Sunderland on Saturday afternoon. However, Rooney believes that it is up to the player to return to his best. He is quoted by The Express as saying: "It was one of those days that every footballer has, but he is a great player, he has shown that, and you don't lose your talent overnight. Hopefully he will get back to his best and start giving some performances for us. "He has got a lot of experience and I think he will figure it out - we all have to do that sometimes. There is nothing worse than when everyone keeps going on to you. "You have to come to it in your own way and I am sure he will be a big player for us between now and the end of the season." United are currently fourth in the Premier League table.
