Manchester United assistant manager Rui Faria has vowed that Jose Mourinho will soon get things right and eventually lead the club to Premier League glory.
The Portuguese was sent to the stands on Sunday afternoon as the Red Devils were held to a fourth league draw in succession at Old Trafford, leaving them 11 points off the summit.
Mourinho snubbed the chance to speak to the media post-match, instead leaving his duties to right-hand man Faria, who was left in charge for an hour of the entertaining 1-1 tie with West Ham United.
Faria says that the pressure is not getting to the experienced manager, who was dismissed for the second time in the space of a month, claiming that his array of titles at Chelsea proves that it is a matter of time before success arrives.
"It's a big club and we are used to big clubs - we also know how to take a team to win," BBC Sport quotes him as saying. "We know that we will do it.
"We are looking to the team and trying to get the best results. We knew the job was not an easy job and we fight to change the things and it's what we'll keep doing.
"We believe in the players, we believe in the team and we believe things will change. And what we are chasing will arrive for sure."
Mourinho was told to leave the dugout area after kicking a water bottle in disagreement with referee Jonathan Moss's decision to show Paul Pogba a yellow card for simulation, which will keep him out of Wednesday's rematch with the Hammers in the EFL Cup quarters.
