Manchester United manager David Moyes has revealed that striker Robin van Persie will feature in tomorrow's pre-season friendly against Cerezo Osaka tomorrow, despite injury concerns.
The Scotsman was slammed by former Wales assistant manager Raymond Verheijen for pushing Van Persie too hard when the Dutchman was forced off the field with a thigh problem during their 3-2 defeat to Yokohama F Marinos.
Despite concerns, Moyes has played down any long-term worries by stating in a press conference: "It was just a precaution. I expect he will play tomorrow."
Moyes has also confirmed that the club's pursuit of Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas is still "ongoing".
