Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has admitted that he would have liked to have played under Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
Scholes, who played for United in two spells for 20 years, only had Sir Alex Ferguson as his manager at club level before he retired in 2013.
However, the ex-England star said that he would have enjoyed being coached by the Portuguese.
"Mourinho is the man I would have wanted to play for," he told the Daily Mail.
"The way he comes across, he is a confident man and someone to look up to. He's probably a little bit funny to listen to for the players.
"He is a great manager and has managed some great clubs."
Scholes won 11 Premier League titles and two Champions Leagues during his time at Old Trafford.
