Bastian Schweinsteiger has described David de Gea as one of the best goalkeepers in the world, after Manchester United snatched all three points from Watford on Saturday afternoon.
The Spaniard conceded from the penalty spot late in the game after a string of fine saves, before Troy Deeney deflected in Schweinsteiger's shot in the closing minutes to pick up all three points for the Red Devils.
"De Gea is one of the best goalkeepers in the world," the German midfielder told BT Sport.
"We are happy that he stayed here, he made a lot of good saves. You need a good goalkeeper when you want to win something."
United are currently second in the Premier League, as they sit a point behind Leicester City in first.
