Cardiff City boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said that he is proud of his team's performance in the 2-0 defeat to Manchester United tonight, claiming his troops never "bottled it".
Robin van Persie and Ashley Young struck in either half to ensure that the Norwegian would not enjoy a triumphant happy return to Old Trafford, where he spent 11 years as a player.
"It's hard when you concede a goal within six minutes. We contained them and played better but didn't have the urgency or threat to create big chances," he told reporters.
"We did cause them some problems but didn't have enough. There is a great set of players here. We never bottled it."
