Manchester United have allegedly denied suggestions that there are any issues between executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and manager Jose Mourinho.
United have endured their worst start to the Premier League since 1992, with defeats to Brighton & Hove Albion and Tottenham Hotspur coming over the past two weeks.
Reports have indicated that Mourinho could be fighting for his job at Old Trafford, while it has also been claimed that Woodward has started to watch a number of training sessions at Carrington.
However, according to The Guardian, United have refuted suggestions that there is growing tension between two of the senior figures at the Premier League giants.
The report claims that the pair remain in close contact and have not been involved in disagreements regarding matters either on or off the pitch.
United sit in 13th place in the top-flight standings ahead of Sunday's visit to Burnley.
