Louis van Gaal feels that Manchester United should not have to play Tottenham Hotspur less than two days after their Boxing Day victory over Newcastle United.
The Red Devils face a second Premier League game in the space of 45 hours when they travel to White Hart Lane for the midday kickoff on Sunday.
Van Gaal is annoyed that the scheduling goes against UEFA and FIFA guidelines and does not give United sufficient enough time to prepare for their trip to Spurs.
"With FIFA and UEFA's rules it's forbidden to play within 48 hours. In England, it's okay," he told reporters.
"I cannot prepare my team like I have to prepare. We have unit meetings, and team meetings, we have training 11 against 11, and assimilating opponents, we cannot do that now."
Wayne Rooney scored twice and supplied another for Robin van Persie as United beat the Magpies 3-0.
