Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has taken another swipe at former captain Gary Neville by claiming that he takes no notice of opinions from people outside of the club's "community".
Neville recently stated that this weekend's showdown between United and Liverpool will be like "the Dog and Duck against the Red Lion" due to both sides' inconsistent form.
In response to Neville's claims, Van Gaal said: "I am not looking to the English TV so I am only concerned with expressions by you.
"I do not like that somebody who is living outside of the community of Manchester United can say how we are doing. It is based on no facts. I analyse everything when it is based on facts."
The Red Devils are currently seven points above Liverpool in the Premier League table, with United in third place and their opponents ninth.
