Robin van Persie has hinted that he will play a part in Manchester United's trip to Sunderland on Sunday.
The Dutchman missed United's shock defeat to Swansea City in Saturday's curtain raiser after being granted an extended holiday following the World Cup.
Van Persie has been training with the Red Devils for the past two-and-a-half weeks, and the 31-year-old took to Twitter to hint that he is ready for his first game of the season.
Sunday's clash at the Stadium of Light is scheduled to kick off at 4pm.
