Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic has called on his side to be more clinical in front of goal.
Manager Sir Alex Ferguson recently described his current crop of strikers as his best since the treble-winning season of 1999, but they failed to find the net in their first game of the campaign, losing 1-0 to Everton.
Vidic believes that United failed to turn their possession into chances, although he also insists that his side are already looking to the next fixture in order to bounce back.
"We had some possession but we weren't clinical," the Serbia international told MUTV.
"When you go away from home you expect the home side to have some chances but we need to be more clinical. It wasn't a great game but we're already looking forward to the next one.
"We've lost our first match in the past and finished well so hopefully we can win our next game and go on a long run."
United's next fixture comes at home to Fulham on Saturday.
