Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has a decision to make over Cristiano Ronaldo for Sunday's Premier League contest with Brighton & Hove Albion.
Ronaldo has only played 45 minutes of football during pre-season - the first half against Rayo Vallecano last weekend - due to a personal issue, but he is also said to be pushing to leave the club this summer.
The Portuguese had been in line for a spot on the bench this weekend, but Anthony Martial is out of this match with a hamstring problem, meaning that Ten Hag could be forced to start the 37-year-old.
That said, it is still likely that Ronaldo will be on the bench, with Anthony Elanga potentially featuring in the final third, although much will depend on the availability of Jadon Sancho.
Sancho has not been pictured in training with the Red Devils this week after missing out against Atletico Madrid last weekend through illness, and he is facing a race to prove his fitness.
There is expected to be a debut at the heart of the defence for Lisandro Martinez, while fellow new signing Tyrell Malacia could start at left-back, with Luke Shaw also missing last weekend through illness.
Christian Eriksen is likely to start on the bench, though, with Fred and Scott McTominay set to join Bruno Fernandes in midfield, while Marcus Rashford is expected to lead the line.
Facundo Pellistri and Brandon Williams are injury doubts for the hosts but are unlikely to be involved even if they prove their fitness, while Mason Greenwood remains suspended by the club.
