Manchester United could be boosted by the return of Harry Maguire for Sunday's fixture against West Ham United at Old Trafford.
The 29-year-old returned from a hamstring injury against Sheriff Tiraspol on Thursday night, and he could be in line to make his first Premier League appearance since the start of September.
The chances of the centre-back regaining his place in the starting eleven are also increased by the recent injury to Raphael Varane, who is suffering a hamstring problem of his own, sustained in the 1-1 draw at Chelsea.
Cristiano Ronaldo was selected in the starting lineup against Tiraspol, scoring the third in a 3-0 victory for the Red Devils, but Marcus Rashford has so far been Erik ten Hag's preferred striker in the Premier League, and it is likely that the Englishman will start again.
Elsewhere, Aaron Wan-Bissaka is inching close to full fitness, and the right-back may get some minutes on Sunday, although it is likely that Diogo Dalot will start the match.
Anthony Martial is making steps towards recovery from a back injury suffered against Everton, but the man who has four Premier League goal contributions in three games is unlikely to feature on Sunday.
Instead, the aforementioned Rashford is likely to keep his place, with Jadon Sancho, Bruno Fernandes and Antony set to start behind the lone striker.
Manchester United possible starting lineup:
De Gea; Dalot, Maguire, Martinez, Shaw; Casemiro, Fred; Antony, Fernandes, Sancho; Rashford
