Crystal Palace will be without four players for Saturday evening's Premier League clash with Manchester United at Selhurst Park.

Chadi Riad remains a long-term absentee with a knee injury, while Oliver Glasner has confirmed that Cheick Doucoure is ruled out for "several weeks" with an injury to the "tendon on the toe".

Glasner has provided a positive update on both Matheus Franca (broken rib) and Trevoh Chalobah (abdominal), stating that both players are making progress in their respective recoveries, but Saturday's game will come too soon for the Eagles duo.

After Palace rescued a 2-2 draw with Leicester City in the Premier League last weekend, Glasner named a strong starting lineup for Tuesday's 2-1 victory at Queens Park Rangers in the EFL Cup third round, and the Austrian boss is not expected to make too many changes to his first XI on Saturday.

Summer signing Maxence Lacroix has started Palace's last two matches and is set to retain his place in the back three next to captain Marc Guehi, while Nathaniel Clyne and Chris Richards battle for the third centre-back spot.

Adam Wharton was rested in midweek, but he is expected to be recalled in midfield at the expense of either Daichi Kamada and Jefferson Lerma, who both started against QPR.

Kamada could move further forward into the front three, but Glasner may instead stick with attacking trio Eberechi Eze, Eddie Nketiah and Jean-Philippe Mateta, who have scored all four of Palace's goals combined across their last two matches.
