Sports Mole reviews the 24th round of Premier League encounters with a selection of facts and figures.

Newcastle United 0-3 Sunderland

Adam Johnson continued his recent positive form for Sunderland, taking his goals tally to six in eight Premier League fixtures in 2014.

Also, it was the England winger's 200th top-flight appearance, having also turned out for Middlesbrough and Manchester City.

As for Newcastle, they have lost three successive matches at St James' Park without scoring a goal.

West Ham 2-0 Swansea

Of the last 11 assists that Andy Carroll has laid on, six of them have been for Kevin Nolan.

It was also Carroll's first red card in the Premier League in what was his 113th outing.

Meanwhile, Michael Laudrup's Swansea failed to force a save form West Ham goalkeeper Adrian from any of their 20 shots.

Cardiff City 2-1 Norwich City

Cardiff City's veteran attacker Craig Bellamy's goal means that he is the first player to have scored for seven different Premier League clubs.

He has also found the net for Coventry City, Newcastle United, Blackburn Rovers, West Ham United, Manchester City and Liverpool.

Norwich have not won away from home since December 7.

Everton 2-1 Aston Villa

The Toffees have lost just won of their last 21 encounters at Goodison Park, winning 15 and drawing five.

The victory over Villa was also their 300th as a Premier League outfit.

Villa are without a win from their trips to the blue half of Merseyside since December 2008.

Fulham 0-3 Southampton

West Londoners Fulham slumped to the bottom of the Premier League table for the first time in their history following this defeat.

They have also gone nine encounters without keeping a clean sheet.

One of Southampton's scorers, Rickie Lambert, found the net for the 100th time in the league for the Saints.

Hull City 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur

Tim Sherwood has now been in charge of Spurs for eight matches, and they have scored at least one goal in each of those clashes.

Talking of goals, Paulinho now has three for Tottenham, all of which have been scored away from White Hart Lane.

As for Steve Bruce's Tigers, they have not won since December 28, a run that dates back five games.

Stoke City 2-1 Manchester United

David Moyes's United have now lost eight of their 24 league matches, something that the club had not done since the 1989-90 campaign.

On a slightly lighter note, Robin van Persie has scored in eight successive appearances against Stoke.

The Potters had not beaten United in a league fixture since December 1984.

West Bromwich Albion 1-1 Liverpool

The Reds have found keeping clean sheets difficult away from home, having not done so in their last 11 attempts.

Meanwhile, up the other end, Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge hit his 13th Premier League goal of the season.

The hosting Baggies have drawn 11 matches this term, which is more than any of their top-flight rivals.

Arsenal 2-0 Crystal Palace

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has scored five goals for the Gunners, all of which have come at the Emirates Stadium.

His goals ensured that Arsenal continued their recent positive record at home, winning 15 and losing one of their last 21 fixtures in front of their own supporters.

Palace, meanwhile, have scored just five goals away from Selhurst Park.

Manchester City 0-1 Chelsea

The Citizens had scored in every one of their last 61 home matches, but they have fallen five short of Man United's record.

They also had a 100% winning record from their previous 11 Premier League encounters at the Etihad Stadium.

Chelsea have not conceded an away goal since their trip to Stoke City on December 7.
