Sports Mole looks back on the most recent round of Premier League fixtures with a selection of statistics from each encounter.

Arsenal 2-2 Manchester City

Jack Wilshere's equaliser for Arsenal was only the second Premier League goal that the England midfielder has scored at the Emirates Stadium.

Meanwhile, up the other end, Man City centre-back Martin Demichelis's goal meant that Arsenal have conceded a headed goal in each of their first four outings of the new season.

Champions City kept up their record of having lost just one of the 44 games that Sergio Aguero has scored in

Chelsea 4-2 Swansea City

Diego Costa's hat-trick took his tally for the season to seven goals in just four appearances. It took Fernando Torres 43 matches to reach that number of goals for the Blues.

The striker became the fourth Spaniard to hit three goals in one Premier League game after Torres, Jordi Gomez and Santi Cazorla had previously achieved that feat.

The Swans have not beaten Chelsea in a league encounter since 1981.

Crystal Palace 0-0 Burnley

In nine attempts, Palace are still seeking a first Premier League victory in the month of September, having drawn four and lost five matches.

The shutout meant that Burnley have kept a clean sheet away from home in the Premier League for the first time in their history.

However, they are without a victory at Selhurst Park from their last 10 meetings with the Eagles.

Southampton 4-0 Newcastle United

Graziano Pelle's brace of goals took his tally for Southampton to four, but those were the first that he had scored at the St Mary's Stadium.

One of Southampton's other goalscorers - Jack Cork - found the net for the first time ever in the Premier League.

As for visiting Newcastle, they have collected just five points from the last 36 on offer.

Stoke City 0-1 Leicester City

The clean sheet was Leicester's first of the campaign and it also ended a run of 12 Premier League matches without conceding a goal.

In terms of scoring goals, summer signing Leonardo Ulloa scored his third for Leicester in four outings.

Stoke have failed to score in either of their home matches this season, having lost both 1-0.

Sunderland 2-2 Tottenham Hotspur

Sunderland's poor home form continued with the visit of Spurs. The Black Cats have now won only three of their last 15 matches at the Stadium of Light.

Adam Johnson's goal for the Black Cats was his first in the Premier League since the end of March.

As for Spurs, Christian Eriksen has made two appearances against Sunderland and has scored in both of them.

West Bromwich Albion 0-2 Everton

Romelu Lukaku's previous 32 Premier League goals had been scored while on loan. This was his first scored for a club that owns him outright.

His teammate, Steven Naismith, failed to score in the Premier League for the first time this season.

West Brom, meanwhile, have only won one of their last 11 fixtures in front of their own supporters.

Liverpool 0-1 Aston Villa

Villa are now unbeaten from their last four trips to Anfield, while their manager Paul Lambert has also never tasted defeated away at the red half of Merseyside with either Norwich City or his current club.

The goalscorer, Gabriel Agbonlahor, has been involved in four goals in as many appearances against Liverpool.

The two sides could only muster up two shots on target between them - one each.

Manchester United 4-0 Queens Park Rangers

Man United's Ander Herrera became the 50th Spaniard to score in the Premier League, while Angel di Maria is the 31st Argentine to have found the net in England's top flight.

Another goalscorer - Wayne Rooney - has now fired in 175 Premier League goals, which takes him level with Thierry Henry in joint third.

Visiting QPR are still searching for their first clean sheet at Old Trafford since 1992 when they recorded a 0-0 draw.

Hull City 2-2 West Ham United

Mohamed Diame, who left West Ham for Hull last month, scored with his first ever shot on target for his new club.

Meanwhile, four of West Ham's five goals this season have been scored from outside of the penalty area.

The draw was the first that the away side had played out in 18 Premier League encounters.
