Sports Mole reflects on the fifth weekend of Premier League action with a selection of statistics from each encounter.

Queens Park Rangers 2-2 Stoke City

Visiting Stoke extended their unbeaten away run to five matches courtesy of this draw at Loftus Road.

What's more, the Potters also ended in a five-encounter losing sequence in London.

As for QPR, their goalscorer Nico Kranjcar found the net in the Premier League for the first time since February 2012.

Aston Villa 0-3 Arsenal

Danny Welbeck's first goal in an Arsenal shirt was also his fourth in his last three starts against Villa.

Staying with the Gunners, Mesut Ozil scored and assisted a goal in the space of one minute and 20 seconds at Villa Park.

Villa have not beaten the North Londoners in front of their own supporters since December 1998.

Burnley 0-0 Sunderland

No team has scored fewer goals in the Premier League this season after five matches than Burnley, who have found the net just once.

Sean Dyche's side have now drawn their last three matches 0-0. The last Premier League side to do that was Blackburn Rovers in 2009.

The clean sheet was the first that Gus Poyet's Sunderland have kept all season.

Newcastle United 2-2 Hull City

Visiting Hull are now unbeaten from five of their previous six trips to St James' Park in all competitions.

Meanwhile, Newcastle have scored just 19 Premier League home goals in 2014 - less than any other ever-present outfit.

In terms of this fixture, the home side have failed to win any of the last seven meetings.

Swansea City 0-1 Southampton

The visiting Saints extended their unbeaten run of form against Swansea to six matches, having won three of them.

Prior to this encounter, the Swans, along with Chelsea, were the only Premier League side to have won both of their home matches this season.

Garry Monk's team are now without a goal against Southampton in 377 minutes of football against them.

West Ham United 3-1 Liverpool

Stewart Downing's assist for Morgan Amalfitano's goal was his third of the campaign. During the whole of last season, he laid on just two goals for his West Ham teammates.

The victory was only the home side's second against their Merseyside counterparts in 12 attempts.

Visiting Liverpool have now lost three Premier League games this term - a number they did not reach until December 1 during the 2013-14 campaign.

Leicester City 5-3 Manchester United

Before this meeting, Leicester had scored just one goal in their last eight Premier League meetings with United.

The defeat means that Louis van Gaal's side have now gone five away Premier League matches without securing a victory. It's the first time that they have been on such a run since September 2001.

Also, United lost a game in which they had held a two-goal winning margin for the first time since an encounter with Nottingham Forest in 1984.

Tottenham Hotspur 0-1 West Bromwich Albion

James Morrison became just the second West Brom player to score in the Premier League this season after Saido Berahino.

The victory for the Baggies also ended a run of 13 matches without a win on a Sunday, which dated back to April 2012 when Roy Hodgson was at the helm.

Spurs, meanwhile, lost at White Hart Lane to West Brom for the first time since 1984.

Everton 2-3 Crystal Palace

Everton have conceded 13 goals in five Premier League matches this term - no team has shipped more.

On the flip side, the 11 goals that Roberto Martinez's team have scored up the other end is only bettered by league leaders Chelsea (16).

One of Palace's goalscorers was Yannick Bolasie, who found the net in the Premier League for the first time ever in 34 appearances.

Manchester City 1-1 Chelsea

Frank Lampard's goal against his former club Chelsea means that he has now scored against 39 Premier League teams, which is a record.

Up the other end, Andre Schurrle scored his 10th Premier League goal, eight of which have been scored away from home.

There had not been a drawn encounter between these two sides since April 1994.
