Manchester United have suffered a 3-2 defeat to Yokohama F Marinos in Japan on their pre-season tour of Asia.
The hosts got off to the best possible start as they took the lead inside 27 seconds when Marquinhos capitalised on a mistake by Fabio da Silva before firing in at the second attempt.
Yokohama continued to press in search of a second, but it was United who scored next as Jesse Lingard converted Wilfried Zaha's cross on 19 minutes.
The visitors then went in front with 15 minutes left in the first half when Masakazu Tashiro bundled the ball into his own net. However, it was all square soon after the restart through Fabio Aguiar's header.
Both sides showed plenty of attacking intent during the final stages of the match, only for Yokohama to grab a winner in the 88th minute as Yoshihito Fujita found space to slot into the bottom corner.
