Anthony Martial has not been included in Manchester United's squad for their final pre-season game of 2018-19 against Bayern Munich on Sunday evening.
The 22-year-old was criticised by manager Jose Mourinho for leaving the club's pre-season tour of the United States for the birth of his child and not returning stateside.
Martial has not reported back to the club since returning to Europe and does not feature against the Bundesliga champions at the Allianz Arena.
Nemanja Matic, Diogo Dalot, Sergio Romero and Antonio Valencia are missing through injury, while Romelu Lukaku and Jesse Lingard did not travel and Paul Pogba, Marouane Fellaini and Ashley Young are still on their post-World Cup breaks.
Victor Lindelof and Marcus Rashford, meanwhile, are back early from World Cup duty, and both make the XI as Alexis Sanchez captains the side.
Bayern, meanwhile, have named a strong starting XI which features Thomas Muller, Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery in the final third of the field, with Robert Lewandowski on the bench.
There is also a position for former Arsenal youngster Serge Gnabry, while Manuel Neuer plays behind a back four of Joshua Kimmich, Mats Hummels, Niklas Sule and David Alaba.
