Marcus Rashford has only been named on the Manchester United substitutes' bench for Thursday's Premier League fixture at Chelsea.

Although the versatile attacker has endured a mixed campaign, he has still made 31 appearances in the United XI throughout this season.

However, the England international is one of three players to drop out of the starting lineup from the 1-1 draw at Brentford.

Antony has taken the place of Rashford in a move that will see Alejandro Garnacho feature on the left flank instead, while Harry Maguire has replaced the injured Victor Lindelof.

The other alteration sees Casemiro return to take the spot of Scott McTominay, who is selected on the bench alongside former Chelsea star Mason Mount.

Meanwhile, Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino has kept faith with the starting lineup from the 2-2 draw at home to Burnley on Saturday.

Malo Gusto had been an injury doubt having been withdrawn during the latter stages of that fixture, while Raheem Sterling may have felt in line for a recall on the back of his clever assist for Cole Palmer's second goal.

Nevertheless, Mykhaylo Mudryk has retained his place on the left flank, with Palmer continuing down the right against the rivals of former club Manchester City.

There are changes on the Chelsea substitutes' bench, though, with Trevoh Chalobah and Carney Chukwuemeka both in a position to return to the squad after minor injuries.

Chelsea: Petrovic; Gusto, Disasi, Badiashile, Cucurella; Caicedo, Fernandez, Gallagher; Palmer, Jackson, Mudryk

Subs: Bettinelli, Chalobah, Gilchrist, Silva, Tauriainen, Casadei, Chukwuemeka, Madueke, Sterling

Manchester United: Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Maguire, Dalot; Mainoo, Casemiro; Antony, Fernandes, Garnacho; Hojlund

Subs: Heaton, Evans, Kambwala, Diallo, Amrabat, Eriksen, McTominay, Mount, Rashford body check tags ::
