Sports Mole rounds up Manchester United's injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with West Ham United on Saturday.
Sports Mole

Manchester United will endeavour to march to a second consecutive win in the Premier League when top-four rivals West Ham United pay a visit to Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

Ralf Rangnick witnessed his side turn up the heat in a 3-1 success over Brentford in midweek, with Anthony Elanga, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford on the scoresheet.

The Red Devils enter the weekend still seventh in the rankings, but their visitors are only two points clear having played one game more than their counterparts.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Man United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

Paul Pogba

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: February 12 (vs. Southampton)

Rangnick has revealed that Paul Pogba is looking "very promising" in training as he steps up his recovery from a thigh injury, but he will not be ready just yet.

Eric Bailly

Status: Out
Type of injury: International duty
Possible return date: Unknown

Central defender Eric Bailly is currently representing Ivory Coast at the Africa Cup of Nations so remains unavailable for selection.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: January 22 (vs. West Ham)

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is still struggling with an illness, and Rangnick has revealed that the right-back will "probably not" be available for the clash with the Hammers.

Jadon Sancho

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Personal
Possible return date: January 22 (vs. West Ham)

Jadon Sancho was not involved in the win over Brentford due to personal reasons, and it remains to be seen if the attacker will be back in the squad on Saturday.

Luke Shaw

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Luke Shaw missed out in midweek after suffering a hamstring injury during training, and the left-back is unlikely to be ready for this contest.

Edinson Cavani

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: Unknown

Edinson Cavani was another late withdrawal from the squad to face Brentford due to muscular problems, and the Uruguayan will likely miss out once more.

Scott McTominay

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Back
Possible return date: January 22 (vs. West Ham)

Scott McTominay had to be replaced in the dying embers of the win over Brentford due to a back issue, but Rangnick is confident that the midfielder will be available for the weekend.

Man United have no players suspended for this match.
