Sports Mole looks at how Manchester United could line up for Tuesday's Premier League clash with Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium.

Manchester United return to Premier League action on Tuesday night when they resume their top-four charge against Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side needed a last-gasp extra-time winner against Norwich City on Saturday to progress into the semi-finals of the FA Cup for a record 30th time, with Harry Maguire the unlikely goalscoring hero.

The weekend also saw them slip down to sixth in the Premier League table while they were not in action, though, and only a win will restore them to fifth place on Tuesday.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the Red Devils could line up for the contest.

Out: None
Doubtful: Phil Jones (knock), Axel Tuanzebe (unspecified)

Solskjaer rested a number of his star names for the Norwich match, leaving the likes of Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and David de Gea out of his starting XI.

All four are expected to come back into the side for this one, though, with Martial in particular looking to build on his first senior hat-trick from the last league game.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Daniel James and Nemanja Matic are among the other players who will hope to regain their starting places after missing out at the weekend.

The quick turnaround in matches does raise a slight question mark over the involvements of Bruno Fernandes, Maguire and Luke Shaw, all of whom played the full 120 minutes on Saturday and therefore may struggle to recover fully in time for Tuesday.

All three are likely to be included if they can prove their fitness, though, and United picked up no fresh injury concerns despite going the distance at Carrow Road.

Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe remain the only doubts for the visitors, although Jones in particular is understood to be nearing contention again.
