Sports Mole looks at three striker alternatives to Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen that Manchester United could sign in the summer transfer window.

Manchester United will be in the market for a new centre-forward during this summer's transfer window.

The Red Devils ended a six-year trophy drought by winning the EFL Cup in February, while they are chasing silverware in both the FA Cup and Europa League this season.

Erik ten Hag's side are also fourth in the Premier League table, with the club in pole position to secure a return to the Champions League for the 2023-24 campaign.

However, the team's lack of goals this season has been a problem, with only Marcus Rashford (27) and Bruno Fernandes (10) netting double figures for the 20-time English champions.

Wout Weghorst will reportedly head back to parent club Burnley this summer, with Man United deciding against signing him on a permanent basis, while Anthony Martial is also being strongly linked with an exit.

Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane remains Man United's leading target, but it is likely to be incredibly difficult to convince Spurs to sell the England captain to a domestic rival.

Meanwhile, another leading target, Victor Osimhen, has expressed his happiness at Napoli, who are believed to value the Nigeria international in excess of £100m.

As a result, Man United could be forced to look elsewhere this summer when it comes to a centre-forward for next season, and here Sports Mole looks at three possible options for the club.

Randal Kolo Muani (Eintracht Frankfurt)

Randal Kolo Muani has been one of the stars of the Bundesliga this season, scoring 12 goals and registering 12 assists in 26 appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany's top flight.

Meanwhile, in all competitions, the striker has managed 19 goals and 14 assists in 38 appearances, representing an excellent first campaign with the club following his arrival from Nantes.

Frankfurt are in a strong position when it comes to the forward's future, with his deal due to run until June 2027, but the club could find it difficult to resist firm interest from major clubs this summer.

Kolo Muani will have ambitions of winning major titles during his career, and Man United appear to be moving firmly in the right direction under Ten Hag.

The forward scored his first goal for France during the 2022 World Cup, and he looks to have the talent to continue progressing in the coming years.

Frankfurt will undoubtedly fight hard to keep hold of the Frenchman, but the chance to potentially lead Man United's attack next season would be difficult for him to turn down.

Dusan Vlahovic (Juventus)

Dusan Vlahovic has not had the impact at Juventus that many would have expected when he completed a high-profile move to the club from Fiorentina in January 2022.

Arsenal were believed to be making strong progress on a deal for the Serbia international before ultimately being made to admit defeat in their pursuit of the centre-forward.

The 23-year-old has only managed 20 goals and six assists in 51 appearances for Juventus, including 11 goals and four assists in 30 appearances in all competitions this term.

Vlahovic's future has recently been the subject of much speculation, with both Man United and Chelsea said to be keeping a close eye on his situation with Juventus, who could be forced to make some major sales this summer due to their financial problems.

The Old Lady are currently seventh in the Serie A table, eight points behind fourth-placed AC Milan, with the club facing the strong possibility of missing out on Champions League football for next term.

The Serbian's future is certainly something to keep an eye on ahead of the summer market, and it would not be a shock to see him pull on the famous red of Man United next term.

Joao Felix (Atletico Madrid)

Joao Felix is again being linked with a possible move to Man United this summer, with the Red Devils still believed to have a firm interest in the Portugal international.

Ten Hag's side ultimately decided against pursuing a loan deal for the forward in January, and he instead joined Chelsea, who are currently going through a very difficult period.

Felix has only scored twice in 12 appearances for the Blues, but there have been plenty of positive signs, and it is unfortunate for him that he has joined a transitional side.

The Portuguese will return to parent club Atletico Madrid this summer, and it is understood that the Spanish giants are open to letting him leave on a permanent basis.

Felix has 34 goals and 18 assists in 131 matches for Atletico, which are not exactly stunning numbers, but there is a seriously talented player just waiting to be unlocked.

Man United are likely to be in the running for the Portuguese's signature if he does indeed become available, and the thought of him lining up alongside the likes of Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Antony is certainly an intriguing prospect.
