The agent of in-demand attacker Mohammed Kudus has revealed that the Ghana international is looking to leave Ajax during this summer's transfer window.

The 22-year-old has been in strong form for his Dutch club during the 2022-23 campaign, scoring 18 goals and registering six assists in 41 appearances in all competitions.

Kudus also impressed for his country at the 2022 World Cup, netting twice at the competition, and there has been a host of speculation surrounding his future in recent weeks.

Arsenal and Manchester United are both believed to be interested in the forward, who has little over two years left to run on his contract in Amsterdam.

Kudus's agent Jennifer Mendelewitsch has suggested that a big-money summer move is on the cards, claiming that it is "the right time" to seek a move away from Ajax.

"I think it is best for both Ajax and Mohammed that he makes a transfer now. Now is the right time," she told De Telegraaf.

"He has ignored a proposal to extend his contract until the summer of 2026. What I can say is that after the World Cup and this season there is a lot of interest in Kudus."

Kudus is capable of operating in a number of different positions in the final third of the field, and Man United head coach Erik ten Hag is said to be keen on a reunion with the Ghana international, having managed him at Ajax before leaving for Old Trafford.

"Because the club [Ajax] is known for developing talent. I talked about that with trainer Erik ten Hag," the attacker said back in December when discussing his role in the team.

"In his style of play, creative and attacking, I saw myself. It was exactly in line with my personal qualities and how I wanted to develop."

Arsenal are also looking to boost their attack this summer, with the Gunners looking to build on what has been an excellent campaign under Mikel Arteta.

The Gunners ultimately fell short of Manchester City in the Premier League title race, but they will finish this season in second position and have secured a return to the Champions League for 2023-24.

Kudus made the move to Ajax from Nordsjaelland in July 2020, and he has represented the Dutch outfit on 83 occasions in all competitions, scoring 23 goals and registering 10 assists.

The forward has netted 11 goals and provided three assists in 29 league appearances this season, while he managed four goals and two assists in six outings in the group stage of the Champions League. body check tags ::
