Sergino Dest's agent has claimed that 'three Premier League clubs' are interested in signing the Barcelona defender during this summer's transfer window.
The 22-year-old's future is currently the subject of much speculation, as he is due to return to Camp Nou this summer following a loan spell with Italian giants AC Milan.
Dest has found it difficult to make his mark for Milan, only featuring on 14 occasions in all competitions, while he has not played for the Serie A outfit in the league since the end of January.
The Red and Blacks had the option to purchase the United States international on a permanent basis this summer, but he will be returning to his parent club ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.
Barcelona are currently short at right-back, but it is understood that Dest is not in head coach Xavi's plans moving forward, which is likely to lead to him being sold this summer.
Manchester United and Arsenal are among the clubs to previously been credited with an interest in the full-back, and it has been claimed that there are three teams from England keen on his signature.
"There are three Premier clubs that have already shown a lot of interest," a representative of the American told BarcaTimes.
"There are still no advances with any club. Dest will return to Barcelona and then we will talk to the club's management about his future."
Dest made the move to Barcelona from Ajax in 2020, and he has represented the Catalan outfit on 72 occasions, scoring three goals and registering four assists in the process.
The defender was a key player for Blaugrana during the 2020-21 campaign, featuring on 41 occasions in all competitions, while he also played 31 times last season.
Dest still has another two years left to run on his contract at Camp Nou, but it is believed that he could leave the club permanently during the summer transfer window rather than on loan.
There are currently no indications that either Arsenal or Man United are keen on signing him this summer, but the latter could be in the market for a new right-back ahead of next season.
Speaking earlier this year, Barcelona president Joan Laporta said that his club "must sign a right-back" in the upcoming market, seemingly ending Dest's chances of staying at Camp Nou. body check tags ::
