The agent of Victor Valdes has said that the goalkeeper will leave Manchester United in January.
The 33-year-old former Barcelona player has rarely featured under manager Louis van Gaal, with David de Gea and Sergio Romero above him in the pecking order at Old Trafford.
Valdes has been linked with Newcastle United, but agent Gines Carvajal has revealed that while the former Spain international will move on, he does not know which club he will join next.
"He needs to go to a place he feels is right for him," Carvajal told Radio Marca. "He won't be coming to Spain, unless he decides otherwise.
"It is obvious he must leave in January, and we are looking to find a move that he likes."
Valdes signed an 18-month deal with United in January.
