Manchester United have reportedly made progress in their attempts to part ways with Alexis Sanchez.
The Chile international has spent less than 18 months at Old Trafford, but the forward has no place in the plans of newly-appointed manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
United face a battle to get Sanchez off their wage bill, although The Independent claims that positive talks have been held with both Juventus and Inter Milan.
The report suggests that there is a willingness to reach a compromise, and Sanchez could be interested in a return to Serie A, having previously represented Udinese.
Sanchez made just 11 starts in the Premier League and Champions League this season, with his one goal coming against Newcastle United in October.
