Angel Gomes is reportedly reluctant to sign a new contract at Manchester United as he has doubts over whether he will be given regular first-team action at Old Trafford.
The 19-year-old, who continues to be linked with a move to Chelsea, will see his current deal with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side expire at the end of June.
United are seemingly attempting to tie the teenager to a new agreement, but according to the Manchester Evening News, the England Under-20 international has fears over his playing time.
Gomes has been involved on six occasions for the first team during the 2019-20 campaign, although he has played just 19 minutes of Premier League football this term.
United's alleged pursuit of Birmingham City's Jude Bellingham and Aston Villa's Jack Grealish is said to have 'discouraged Gomes' as he is 'unconvinced about his playing prospects'.
The attacker has made 10 appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions.
