Premier League duo Arsenal and Chelsea are reportedly still interested in signing Napoli attacker Dries Mertens.
Both clubs were linked with moves during the January transfer window as the 32-year-old entered the final six months of his contract.
Mertens is still yet to pen an extension with Gennaro Gattuso's side, meaning that he will, as it stands, be available on a free transfer ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
Manchester United have recently been linked with the Belgium international, but according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Arsenal and Chelsea are both still in the running for his services.
Mertens, who has been capped on 90 occasions by his national side, has scored 12 times and registered six assists in 29 appearances for Napoli during the current season.
Inter Milan are also thought to be weighing up a move in the coming weeks.
