Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Dries Mertens this summer.
The 32-year-old's existing deal with Napoli will expire at the end of June, meaning that, as it stands, he will be available on a free transfer ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
Chelsea and Arsenal have both previously been linked with a move for the attacker, who has scored 18 times in 90 appearances for the Belgian national team.
However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, United are also in the hunt for versatile forward as he considers leaving his Italian side after seven years.
Mertens has scored 12 times and registered six assists in 29 appearances for Napoli this season, while he has struck 121 goals in 311 outings for the Serie A giants since arriving from PSV Eindhoven.
The Red Devils, though, have allegedly not yet made a call on the future of Odion Ighalo.
