Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a move for out-of-favour Inter Milan midfielder Christian Eriksen in January.
The Gunners' lack of creativity through the middle has been evident in their woeful start to the season, and technical director Edu recently confirmed that the club are looking to address the issue in next month's transfer window.
Dominik Szoboszlai was tipped to complete a transfer to Arsenal, but the Hungarian starlet has now joined RB Leipzig, and a move for Lyon's Houssem Aouar is looking increasingly unlikely.
However, Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Mikel Arteta could attempt to bring Eriksen back to North London, with the former Tottenham Hotspur man struggling for starts under Antonio Conte.
The Denmark international has already been linked with a switch to the Emirates in a deal which would see Granit Xhaka head in the other direction, and the report claims that Inter are also interested in Dani Ceballos, but that would mean Real Madrid getting involved in negotiations as well.
A loan deal rather than a permanent exit in January is thought to be more likely for Eriksen, who has supposedly caught the eye of Manchester United as well.
