Arsenal have reportedly approached West Bromwich Albion to enquire about Sam Johnstone.
The Gunners are keen to sign a new goalkeeper this summer and have been credited with an interest in Aaron Ramsdale, who is expected to leave Sheffield United ahead of the new season.
Johnstone, though, is also likely to be on the move this summer following West Brom's relegation back to the Championship, with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United previously linked.
According to The Athletic, Arsenal are also keen on the Englishman and have approached West Brom to determine how much it would take to sign him during this summer's transfer window.
The 28-year-old's contract at the Hawthorns is due to expire next summer, meaning that the Baggies are not in a strong position to negotiate a high asking price.
Johnstone conceded 74 times in 37 Premier League appearances for West Brom during the 2020-21 campaign, keeping just six clean sheets in the process.
