Arsenal bosses are said to be demanding that Manchester United pay a £5m premium for Dutch forward Robin van Persie.
Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson revealed today that he has made a bid for the 29-year-old but that the Gunners were "trying to negotiate with other clubs".
According to The Mirror, the North Londoners are prepared to sell last season's top goalscorer for £20m to anyone except United, whom they intend to charge £25m.
United are the favourites to land Van Persie, with the player reportedly uninterested in moves to Manchester City or Juventus.
