Arsenal may reportedly enter the race for in-demand Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland if Swedish billionaire Daniel Ek completes his takeover of the club.
The prolific frontman is on the radar of each of Europe's elite clubs after scoring 39 goals and setting up seven more in his first full campaign at the Westfalenstadion.
Barcelona and Real Madrid have already held talks with Haaland's entourage, while Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United are also believed to have registered an interest.
According to The Express, Arsenal may also now be in the running for the Norway international, who will not leave Dortmund for anything less than a nine-figure sum.
The Gunners could be in line for a cash windfall should Ek, who is the co-founder and chief executive of music streaming service Spotify, persuade unpopular owner Stan Kroenke to sell the club.
Ek first expressed an interest in taking over Arsenal last week and is rumoured to have enlisted the help of iconic figures Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Vieira. body check tags ::
