Barcelona are reportedly still struggling to meet Ilaix Moriba's contract demands in Catalonia.
The 18-year-old enjoyed a solid breakthrough season under Ronald Koeman in the 2020-21 campaign, making 18 appearances in all competitions and registering one goal and three assists in La Liga.
However, Moriba's contract at Camp Nou is due to expire at the end of next season, and the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid are all thought to be monitoring the situation.
Barca are understood to be in talks with Moriba over a new deal, but according to Marca, the two parties are not even close to reaching an agreement over fresh terms.
The report adds that Moriba's high wage demands are causing a roadblock in negotiations, and the youngster is not a part of the first team's Germany training camp after being demoted back down to the B team.
Moriba started four La Liga games for Barcelona last term, scoring against Osasuna and setting up three more goals against Alaves, Sevilla and Real Sociedad. body check tags ::
