Bayern Munich have reportedly joined Manchester United and Arsenal in the race to sign Lille attacker Nicolas Pepe.
The 23-year-old has made a fine start to the new Ligue 1 season for Lille, directly contributing to 10 goals in the opening nine games of the season.
Pepe has scored six of those goals himself, and his form is understood to have attracted the attention of some of Europe's biggest clubs.
German outlet Bild reports that Bayern plan to step up their pursuit with a January move in a bid to beat their rivals to his signature.
However, the likes of United, Arsenal, Barcelona, Sevilla and Everton are also tracking the Ivorian's progress and could provide competition for the German champions.
Pepe is expected to fetch a fee of around £30m, just over a year after joining Lille from Angers.
