Bayern Munich have emerged as potential candidates to hijack Manchester United's seemingly imminent signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to reports.
The 34-year-old has been widely tipped to join the Red Devils on a free transfer to work under new manager Jose Mourinho, and is reportedly set to undergo a medical once back from Euro 2016 duty with Sweden.
According to German newspaper Bild, however, secret discussions have taken place between Ibrahimovic and Bayern, who may be looking for a replacement for Real Madrid target Robert Lewandowski.
New Bayern manager Carlo Ancelotti has worked with Ibrahimovic at Paris Saint-Germain.
