Reported Manchester City target Asmir Begovic is reported to be in favour of a move to their local rivals Manchester United.
The 25-year-old Stoke City goalkeeper was linked with a move to the Citizens earlier this week.
City manager Roberto Mancini is said to be keen on providing first-choice keeper Joe Hart with competition between the sticks.
However, The Mirror has now reported that United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is keeping tabs on the Bosnian as a potential replacement for David de Gea and Anders Lindegaard.
Begovic, who has a contract with the Potters until 2016, will reportedly cost around £15m.
