Betting has been suspended on Saul Niguez joining Manchester United ahead of his announcement of a "new club" this morning.
The Atletico Madrid midfielder began a three-day countdown towards the announcement on Sunday which will culminate at 10am BST today, sparking huge speculation that a switch to Manchester United is imminent.
Reports last month suggested that a United deal for Saul is "practically done", and one leading bookmaker has now suspended betting on him joining Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.
The 25-year-old is contracted to Atletico until 2026 and that deal contains a release clause of £132m, although Manchester United are hopeful of almost halving that to around £70m.
Sports Mole took an in-depth look at the imminent announcement and whether Manchester United fans are right to get excited by the prospect of signing Saul.
