Bruno Fernandes has commented on the future of Manchester United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
The former Juventus forward has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford after previously expressing a desire to leave the club in a bid to play Champions League football.
Ronaldo has been linked with a number of European clubs, including the likes of Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Sporting Lisbon and Chelsea, but they have all decided against signing the 37-year-old.
As a result, the Portugal international has begun the season with United, starting only one of their three Premier League games.
The forward was dropped to the bench for Monday's 2-1 win over Liverpool, and after the game, Fernandes commented on his teammate's future.
As quoted by Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 27-year-old told Eleven Sports: "Cristiano Ronaldo's future? I may know one thing or another, I won't be the one who will say it"
"For now he's a United player, he's quiet - if he's going to leave or if he won't leave, he will speak soon as he said".
With the transfer window still open, Ronaldo's future remains uncertain, but the player himself has revealed that he will discuss his future in an upcoming interview. body check tags ::
