Chelsea and Manchester United have reportedly entered the race to sign highly-rated Valencia trio Shkodran Mustafi, Jose Luis Gaya and Andre Gomes.
Gaya, a 20-year-old left-back, signed a five-year deal with the La Liga club in the summer, 22-year-old Gomes is a Portugal international, and 23-year-old Mustafi played for Everton between 2009 and 2012.
According to The Express, Louis van Gaal is checking on the three players, but Jose Mourinho also has his eye on them, with a potential transfer battle brewing between the two Premier League sides.
Valencia, whose assistant manager is former Man Utd defender Phil Neville, are currently third in La Liga behind Real Madrid and Barcelona.
