Christian Pulisic is reportedly set to remain with Chelsea this season amid rumours of an exit from Stamford Bridge.
The United States international only made 13 Premier League starts in the 2021-22 campaign, while he has featured as substitute in all four of Chelsea's league games this season.
With playing time appearing to be at a premium, Pulisic has been linked with loan moves to Manchester United, Newcastle United and Champions League clubs in Italy and Spain.
The 23-year-old has also held talks with owner Todd Boehly to discuss his future in a bid to play regularly before the World Cup.
However, according to The Athletic, the new Chelsea owner has decided to keep Pulisic after opting against a loan departure.
The winger has two years left to run on his current contract , but he was open to extending his deal to make a loan move possible.
Pulisic is believed to be disappointed with Chelsea's decision, especially as Callum Hudson-Odoi has been allowed to join Bayer Leverkusen on loan.
