Inter Miami owner David Beckham is reportedly considering an approach to sign Alexis Sanchez from former club Manchester United.
Sanchez has spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan at Inter Milan, but the Serie A side are not expected to make the move permanent having seen the 31-year-old limited to only nine league appearances due to injuries.
The Chile international is deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford, although offloading him is proving tricky due to the player's huge wages.
Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Inter Miami are monitoring the situation, though, with Beckham keen to bring a marquee signing to his new MLS franchise.
The report says that Sanchez recently bought a property in Florida, close to where Beckham's team is based.
Last September Sanchez confirmed that Inter Miami had been in contact over a potential move and that he would be interested in the future, although he also outlined his intention to stay at a "high level" for six more years.
